We are delighted to announce that for the second year running we have been put forward for the prestigeous LuxeLife awards which will be announced shortly
We are open from 9am until 10am and 5pm until 6pm Monday to Saturday and On Sunday open only between 5-6 pm.
We will not be available outside of our opening hours due to walking our guests / feeding our guests / playing with our guests and general duties involved with keeping the guests happy and clean.
We set up the Dog Hotel as we did not like kennels ourselves and under our licence with the council we can take a maximum of 8 dogs at any one time.
We have five indoor rooms and our kitchen and subject to compatibility with each other some dogs room together or alone but at all times indoors.
All rooms now have the benefit of Air conditioning Units during the hot spells in the summer.
Before taking on a new dog we do insist on a trial day / overnight stay to ensure the dog is comfortable with us and we are comfortable with them .
The charge for a normal stay is £40 per dog for overnight care and we do not offer daycare other than on the day of drop off or pick up.
Minimum booking of 4 days with the exception of School / bank holidays when only weekly bookings will be taken .( 1st of July until 1st of September )
Dropping in the morning and picking up the next day counts as £40 for the daytime and £40 for overnight pick-up time ( 9-10 am or 5-6 pm ).
On booking when you choose to pick up in the morning but then change it to the evening a daily charge rate of £40 will be made due to over booking and licensing requirements.
We do require a 30% deposit of the total on booking which when paid secures the booking and require 14 day’s notice of cancellation which if not given requires the full amount to be paid.
Payment of the balance (70% ) is to be paid 2 weeks before arrival of the dog/dogs.
If we are requested to administer medication other than for maintenance reasons ( arthritus etc ) or asked to isolate the dog or walk the dog only on a lead or alone due to recent Vetinary treatment or because of incompatability with other dogs and as a result given more responsibility for the care then we will charge an extra £5 per day payable up front with the booking fee.
We do ask that you inform us of any medical requirements for your dog as we may make an extra charge for the responsibility involved.
If a dog arrives with a medical condition and we have not been told about it we reserve the right to refuse entry with loss of any payments made.
With the 12 acres of garden we do additionally walk in the fields surrounding the house so with off-lead behaviour it is essential that we are advised of any problems in this area.
Our property is protected by electric gates and 24 hour CCTV Cameras.
Completion of the trial day and the paperwork together with the deposit for stay confirms the booking.
We do not take any entire male dogs or puppies under 12 months nor any female dogs who are in season.
We are not open on a Sunday morning and opening times are 9-10 am and 5-6 pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday drop-off and pick-up times are only 5-6pm.
